Stan is an 80 year old male who had been very active. He loves playing golf in his retirement. Stan began to have worsening back pain, as well as worsening weakness and “tiredness” into his legs. It got to the point where not only could he not play golf, but even going to church was difficult.

He saw Dr. Anagnost, who diagnosed Stan with severe spinal stenosis. Bone spurs and worn out discs in his spine were compressing the nerves that controlled Stan’s legs. Spinal injections and therapy were attempted, but Stan was getting worse instead of better. Dr. Anagnost recommended Minimally Invasive Spine surgery. The operation took about an hour, and Stan went home the same day. This photo is 2 weeks after surgery. He is back to playing golf, the leg pain and weakness have resolved. Stan and his wife state, “This band aid back surgery gave me my life back. If I had known it was going to be this easy, I would have done it a lot sooner…..Thank you Dr. Anagnost”
